Now Hiring - Fresh Seafood Sales Representative in Braintree, MA

This position will be a hybrid of an inside and outside salesperson. To start, the person will be given existing accounts and be expected to manage these with some growth. Under the direction of the Vice President of Fresh Sales, this position will be expected to call on new accounts the majority being warm sales leads.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic person to take this role with a good attitude. Seafood industry experience is preferred, but we will interview anyone with some relevant sales experience that is willing to learn. Experience with ERPs and CRMs is also preferred.

Sales – Account Management

· Manage existing deck of accounts upon starting with the company

· Receive POs and enter in ERP > Send confirmations to customers.

· Proactively communicate sales order issues to the customer

· Manage new sales pipeline/prospects in ERP/CRM

· Generate new business through warm leads

· Track and follow up on leads throughout full sales cycle

· Travel to prospective clients to close deals

· Onboarding new customers including coordinating all associated paperwork, and completion of customer portals.

· Complete an accurate monthly sales forecast of all accounts and work with sales management to track and update.

· Work with production and sales management teams to develop opportunity specific pricing based on the product and opportunity.

· Maintain and develop relationships with existing brokers, resellers, and accounts.

· Arrange, coordinate and track samples from shipment to customer test/approval.

· Travel to key brokers and attend key market shows

· Become a product expert through internal training

Requirements

• 3+ years seafood sales experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
